Welcome to our new blog!
I’m Vicki and I’m the Sales Director here at The Uniform and Leisurewear Company.
We are making changes to our website to make it easier for our lovely visitors to find their way around, navigate to exactly the products and information you want and we’ll be adding new pages and new products regularly. Call it our new years’ resolution for 2024!
As part of this revamp, I’ll be writing a blog from my desk here at Head Office to let you know more about our family business and the people behind the products. It’s going to be a space to share news about our team and our community work with care homes and schools, and our involvement with charity days and events. It will give you a sneaky peak from behind the scenes, as well as keeping you up to date with any new offers and information regarding school uniforms, workwear, healthcare products and even our fancy dress selection.
With seasonal changes and when stock is changing over so quickly, it can be all too easy to just concentrate on the daily to-do list. But I want to take a moment each month to connect with you all and if you love a bit of tagging and sharing, take a look at our social media. Each of our 4 stores (Lancaster, Morecambe, Garstang and Kirkham) have their own Facebook page so if you follow us, you’ll be able to see our latest offers, sales and must-have bargains!
And of course, it goes without saying, that I’ll be sharing our adventures with Stella our MD!
For those of you who don’t know her, she’s our company mascot, and in this case MD isn’t ‘Managing Director’, it’s ‘Mad Dog’. Stella is our black and white collie. She’s our beloved rescue dog, deaf as a post and you’ll find her sat under my desk, as she comes to work with me every day.
So, welcome to our new blog. I’ll post each month. Even if my admin and paper work starts to over flow – I’ll make time to talk to you. If there’s anything you need, we are only a click away. From help with the ecommerce side of the site, or anything to do with our shops, our staff, or our clothing, we’re happy to chat or email. We love our customers so get in touch.
