Walkies to Workwear- We’ve Got You Covered!

Like the jet-setting celebrity I am, I delegated winter blog-writing to my “assistant” Vicki (I only jetted as far as Morecambe, but haven’t the starling murmurations been magnificent?).
It’s lovely to enjoy spring with longer walks, birdsong, and early lambs leaping. But, as all you responsible dog owners know, it’s important to keep us on leads in the countryside this time of year. Even a perfectly-behaved dog straying too near pregnant ewes can stress them to the point of losing their lambs, which no-one wants.
Rare ground-nesting birds on beaches and fells are another reason to keep us in check! We’re so lucky to live close to coast and countryside- I love walkies around the Trough of Bowland, and I know many of you do, too. That’s why our Garstang and Kirkham shops now stock walking boots, perfect for striding out all day long. They’re not online because trying on is important for the perfect fit (if you don’t have smart paws, like me).
Even my paws and coat need some TLC from time, to time, so it’s off to the groomers for a trim.
