Hello and woof- Stella here!
If you don’t know me, I’m the elegant, intelligent, sophisticated (I could go on…) UAL “office mascot” collie, providing invaluable excuses for my humans to stop work and go for walkies. Vicki’s so busy with the schools breaking up, so I thought I’d show willing and step up. I’m usually sitting with my head on her lap as she types, so I reckon I’m halfway to being in charge anyway!
Holidays are always a busy time, with lots of FUN kits (rather than school uniforms) being chosen for sports, adventures, holiday clubs, Brownies, Guides, gymnastics, dance groups, five a side- all fantastic ways to have fun and make friends in the holidays.
With a massive range of team kits in all colours and sizes, from tiny to adult, a doggy tip is to ask our friendly instore experts – we’ve four town centre shops: Kirkham, Lancaster, Morecambe and Garstang or contact Wayne, he’s King of all Kit (wayne@ualonline.co.uk, or 01524 388355 option 1).
We’re very aware that many children don’t have opportunities for fun, which is why I’m proud Vicki and David (my human mum and dad) supported “World Against Child Labour Day” last month. We also ensure that we source everything we stock sustainably and only from ethical manufacturers, all year round.
Did you know 7th of July is World Chocolate Day? Even though it’s poisonous to dogs, so no thank you (I never say no to appropriate treats!), I can tell it must be really yummy- it keeps kids fuelled for all those fun summer sports and activities! Definitely a nice “thank you” gift for hardworking teachers and staff, too- whom I’m sure are just as ready for some summer runabout time as everyone else.
So, whether you’re recovering from the GCSEs or A level exams and now looking forward to prom, or if you’re at primary school and it’s all about assessments, the end of year play and sports day, the end is in sight and it’s nearly summer.
And don’t forget about us, your four-legged friends. Surely no school just means more time for holiday walkies?
Have a brilliant breakup!
Woof, Stella xx
